The year of 2010 is roaring along.   Together, we have had a very active schedule of meetings related to PAACS and medical missions. Our book Medical Missions:  Get Ready, Get Set, GO! was published in January 2009 and we hope you will buy a copy!   A brand-new book, Your Mission: Get Ready, Get Set, GO! is now available.  They are companion volumes. 

Sean will enter fourth grade for the fall semester and Bruce will resume teaching PA students in September, 2010. He is the Surgeon in Residence at the Methodist University Physician Assistant’s Program in Fayetteville, NC. He teaches anatomy and physiology there during each fall semester and will add general surgery to his load this fall.  He continues his nearly full-time unpaid position as the CEO of the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons in their new office for PAACS in Fayetteville, NC.  He will also continue to function as the Financial Officer for the CMDA Continuing Medical and Dental Education Commission..

• February 5 - 18 – CMDA-CMDE 29th conference, Brackenhurst, Kenya.  Commission member, assistant treasurer, organizer of worship, speaking 2 times and teaching ACLS.
• February 19 – March 13 – Vision trip with several others to visit all training sites in Africa – Kenya, Ethiopia, Gabon and Cameroon.
